Z1BIZ Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms“) are a legally binding agreement between you and Z1BIZ, LLC (“Z1BIZ,” “we,” “us,” or “our“), headquartered in Magnolia, Texas, governing your access to and use of Z1BIZ websites, business profiles, dashboards, tools, and related services (collectively, the “Service“). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver (Section 16): Except where prohibited by law, disputes must be resolved by binding, individual arbitration; no class actions or jury trials. Please read carefully.

1) What Z1BIZ Is

Z1BIZ is a community-driven, SEO-optimized hybrid platform: a business directory + review site that can act as a website alternative for businesses or an SEO booster that links to a business’s existing website. Our mission is to keep accurate, public business information easy to find and to host visible reviews so communities can make informed choices.

To fulfill this mission, we compile and display business information from public records, online sources, and user submissions. Profiles may remain active even if unclaimed because we believe this information serves the public interest.

2) Business Profiles, Accuracy & Removal

Public Information Displayed. Typical fields include name, address, phone, website, hours, categories, and maps.

Update Requests. Anyone may suggest edits using the “Suggest an Edit” link. Claimed owners may receive additional tools (media uploads, blogging, analytics, AI tools). We may verify and approve edits in our discretion.

Removal Policy. We generally do not remove accurate business profiles upon request. We may remove or restrict a profile if:

(a) the business is permanently closed;
(b) the profile contains private, non-public personal information; or
(c) we receive a valid legal order.

This approach promotes transparency and consumer trust.

3) Reviews, Community Standards & Ranking

Reviews. Reviews are individual opinions. We may remove or restrict content that violates our content guidelines (including harassment, illegal content, spam, deceptive claims, or doxxing). We do not remove reviews solely because a business disagrees with them.

Ranking System. Businesses may appear within our 6-Level Ranking System (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Z1 Approved, Bronze, Bad Business). Rankings are dynamic and may change as we validate data, analyze credibility signals, and receive new reviews. Our ranking methodology may evolve and is confidential.

4) How Profiles Work (Hybrid Platform)

When a business is added or claimed, Z1BIZ generates a single-page profile that may include schema markup, rich snippets, FAQ support, Google Map embedding, contact links, images, media, and blog/articles. Profiles are responsive and can function as:

(i) a standalone online presence; or
(ii) an SEO booster linking to an existing site.

5) Accounts & Access

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, misuse of the Service, suspected fraud, security risk, or risk to users/the public.

6) Your Content & License

Your Content includes content you submit or control (e.g., profile updates, photos, blog posts, reviews you author, AI Notes you enter, business descriptions, and other materials).

You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant Z1BIZ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, and create derivative works of Your Content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit Your Content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

7) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

break the law;
post unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, or harmful content;
scrape, reverse engineer, probe, or overload the Service;
attempt to bypass technical restrictions or security controls;
misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
interfere with reviews or ranking (including fake reviews or undisclosed incentives);
use the Service (including AI tools) in a way that is abusive, automated, or intended to manipulate search results through spam.

8) Intellectual Property; Takedowns

Z1BIZ IP. The Service (including site design, logos, ranking badges, software, and underlying technology) is owned by Z1BIZ or its licensors.

DMCA / Notices. If you believe content infringes your rights, email [email protected] with your contact information, the work you claim is infringed, specific URL(s), a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury, and your signature.

9) Third-Party Services (e.g., Google)

The Service may integrate or reference third-party services (e.g., Google Business Profile, maps, analytics, embedded content). Use of third-party services is subject to those providers’ terms and privacy policies. Z1BIZ is not responsible for third-party services and does not guarantee their availability or behavior.

10) AI Tools (AI Articles, AI Notes, and AI Assistant)

Z1BIZ offers AI-powered features that may include:

1‑Click AI Article Generation (creating an SEO-friendly article for your profile),
AI Notes (private notes you enter to guide how the Z1BIZ AI assistant answers questions about your business), and
AI experiences for visitors that summarize or answer questions about a business based on available profile data, reviews, and AI Notes.

AI Output Disclaimer. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming accuracy before relying on AI output in your business.

Prohibited Use. You may not use AI tools to generate unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive content, or to mass-produce spam.

No Extra Fees for Visitor AI. At this time, there is no additional fee charged to a business when customers use the AI features on a business profile page (e.g., asking questions to an AI assistant on the profile).

11) AI Credits (How They Work)

Certain plans include AI credits each billing cycle, and you may purchase additional AI credits as credit packs.

11.1 What an AI Credit Is

1 AI credit = 1 AI article creation. Each time you run the 1‑Click AI Article Generator, it consumes 1 credit.
If you choose to regenerate an article, each additional generation consumes an additional credit.

11.2 Monthly AI Credits Included With Plans (Do Not Roll Over)

If your plan includes monthly AI credits, they are added each billing cycle and do not roll over. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of the billing cycle.

Current monthly inclusions:

Z1BIZ Lite: 3 AI credits / month
Z1BIZ Plus: 20 AI credits / month
Z1BIZ Elite: 50 AI credits / month
Z1BIZ Agency: 200 AI credits / month

We may change monthly included amounts prospectively as part of plan updates (see Section 13).

11.3 Purchased AI Credit Packs (Do Roll Over)

You may purchase additional AI credits as AI Credit Packs. These packs are priced inexpensively and include a small fee to help prevent misuse and automated abuse.

Purchased AI credits roll over and remain available in your account until used.
Purchased credits are tied to the purchasing account and are not transferable unless we approve in writing.
All credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by law or our posted refund policy (if any).

11.4 Fair Use & Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to:

rate-limit AI usage,
suspend AI features,
or terminate accounts

…if we believe usage is abusive, automated, intended to overload the Service, or violates these Terms.

12) Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

Plans. Z1BIZ offers paid tiers (e.g., Lite, Plus, Elite, Agency). Plan features are described on the site and may change from time to time.

Auto-Renew. Subscriptions auto-renew each billing cycle until canceled. You authorize us (or our processor) to charge your payment method for the then-current price plus applicable taxes.

Price Changes. We may adjust prices prospectively; we’ll provide notice and the new price will apply on your next renewal.

Cancellations. Cancel anytime to prevent the next renewal. Fees paid are non-refundable except as required by law or our posted refund policy (if any).

Trials/Promos. If offered, we may modify or end trials/promos at any time; trial converts to a paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends.

13) Plan-Specific Terms

Lite. Single profile. 1 focus keyword, auto-indexing, backend rich snippets, 9 social links, Z1BIZ pop-ups removed.

Plus. Everything in Lite plus: up to 3 focus keywords, professional setup, starter articles (if offered), more images, priority indexing, instant edits, premium support.

De-Branding (Plus). Upon request, we may remove certain on-page Z1BIZ branding and pop-ups on your profile. However, “Z1BIZ” will still appear in the URL/domain, and Z1BIZ may be identified as the profile publisher in metadata/structured data. URL-level branding cannot be removed.

Elite. Everything in Plus plus: GBP (Google Business Profile) management, additional on-page/off-page SEO, monthly posts/updates, and ranking checks. Elite is a managed service; timelines and results vary.

Agency. Everything in Plus plus: ability to add/manage multiple client profiles (see current limits on our plans page), centralized dashboard access, priority onboarding/support. You’re responsible for your clients’ compliance with these Terms.

Eligibility & Standards. We may validate eligibility (including prohibited categories such as adult/lewd services and U.S.-only availability) and may refuse or remove profiles that don’t fit platform standards.

14) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Z1BIZ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, reviews, star snippets, rich-result eligibility, AI accuracy, or specific marketing/SEO outcomes.

15) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Z1BIZ AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE; OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO Z1BIZ IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

16) Arbitration; Class-Action & Jury Waiver

Agreement to Arbitrate. Except where prohibited by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration in Harris County, Texas, under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider.

No class actions or representative proceedings.
No jury trial.
The arbitrator can award the same remedies available in court.
Each party pays its own fees unless the arbitrator allocates otherwise under applicable rules.

Opt-Out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing [email protected] with subject “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your account email, name, and a statement that you opt out. Opt-outs do not affect prior proceedings.

17) Choice of Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. For matters not subject to arbitration, the exclusive venue is the state or federal courts in Harris County, Texas and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

18) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective on posting the “Last Updated” date. If a change is material to paid users, we’ll endeavor to provide notice (e.g., email or dashboard). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
