Carl began working in the family business in 1998 and took over the agency in 2007 when his parent retired. When he's not helping clients with insurance he's either teaching yoga or tending to his bees of which he has over 60,000. James & Barbara Smith opened their Allstate agency in 1981. After many years of providing insurance service and working along side their son Carl Smith they retired in 2007 and moved to Shenandoah, TX (just north of Houston).
